One month into my working holiday in Ireland, I was coming face to face with my anxieties and uncertainties as I searched for a job while bouncing between temporary housing in Galway. I discovered the following passage while listening to the audiobook of Ask and It Is Given by Esther and Jerry Hicks. I found it extremely comforting and encouraging, and I hope you do too.
The following text is drawn from my personal notes taken from the text:
Allow it.
Open, relax, draw it to you.
Look for the evidence; it is being shown to you, wherever you choose to see it. You are here to experience outrageous joy.
Gradually, piece by piece, release resistant thoughts. Wellbeing wants you. Feel yourself into receiving it, one feeling at a time.
Source is always available to you. Wellbeing is always extended to you. Consciously allow your connection more of the time. Allow conclusions and decisions to align with Source. Enthusiasm, passion, triumph.
Don’t underestimate the value of your preferences. Your worthiness is a given.
Desires and beliefs are just thoughts. Desire is the beginning of all attraction. Create your own reality.
Ask and it is given. Ask through intention, wanting, desire. Feel it in your being. I desire this, I adore this, I appreciate this.
Being one who is happy with that which I am, and that which I have, while at the same time being eager for more, is the optimal creative vantage point. To stand on the brink of what is coming. Feeling eager, optimistic, with no feeling of impatience, doubt, or unworthiness hindering the receiving of it.
