I have lived most of my life in sunny Queensland, Australia, where Litha/Summer Solstice falls close to Christmas. While I sweltered through heatwaves and sheltered from summer thunderstorms, I dreamed of colder places and experiencing a White Christmas. This year, I'm swapping Litha for Yule.
