I love writing short stories. They offer the opportunity to take a snapshot view into various human experiences. This short story was inspired by the experiences of an old friend of mine, now an established surgeon, who shared with me his experiences from his days as a student working in an old former war hospital in Brisbane.
Based on true events, The Graveyard Shift tells the story of Cole, a medical student working the night shift, who starts to experience unusual events at the old hospital where he works.
