For a few months now, I’ve been banging on about 30 and 90 Day Plans, the productivity tool that has helped me write and publish my books and achieve my goals in many areas of my life.
In October, not only are we starting a new 90 day period, but the LAST 90 day period for the calendar year.
A few years ago I learned about the Last 90 Days Challenge created by author and motivational speaker Rachel Hollis, designed to help people finish the year as strong as they start it. To stop waiting for the new year to build better habits and instead finish the final quarter (October, November, and December) with intention and consistency.
The Last 90 Days Challenge aligned nicely with my own 30 & 90 Day Plans, so I have adopted the system into my own end-of-year intention and goal-setting process.
Here are some ideas for daily habits that the Challenge suggests for the Last 90 Days :
- Wake up an hour earlier: Use that extra time exclusively for yourself, your goals, or your personal development.
- Drink water: Consume half your body weight in ounces of water daily.
- Exercise: Move your body for at least 30 minutes every day.
- Dietary adjustment: Give up one major problem food or food category that you know hurts your health or energy.
- Practice gratitude: Write down 10 things you are grateful for every single day.
Back in July, at the beginning of the previous 90 Day period, I released my first online workshop: The 30 & 90 Day Plan.
In this short workshop, you are invited to check in with your goals and reignite your vision for the days and months ahead, by breaking down your goals into manageable one and three-month increments.
This workshop is open to everyone, and all types of goals are welcome:
- Career
- Education
- Health
- Travel
- Creative activities, e.g., writing.
The 30-minute presentation covers:
-How to break down your goal into manageable steps
-How to track the progress of your goal
-Time management tools
-Managing procrastination and interruptions that keep you from achieving your goal
-Being accountable and persistent through the fun and mundane parts of your goal.
You will take home information to help you move toward your goals with confidence and clear direction, cultivating accountability and persistence throughout the process.
Participants are encouraged to bring a pen & paper, a laptop, or any other preferred materials for setting goals. You can download my 30 & 90 Day Plan HERE
This workshop is pre-recorded, so you can watch it in your own time. After all, this is what the 30 & 90 Day Plan is all about, setting your goals at your own pace, at a time that suits you!
