A comforting notion in the pursuit of success in the writing and publishing journey!

The definition of the writer's journey. It is a path of quiet achievement. The outside world may not see the point in our choice to dedicate our lives to storytelling, with no guarantee of success. But this IS our path, and to do anything else would be untrue to our life purpose.

Oh yes. Writing is not for those who desire instant gratification.

Currently working out my characters timelines so as to avoid this 😂 its hard work though!

Ours is not an easy path, and we could have always picked a vocation that guaranteed security. But we did not pick storytelling, storytelling picked us. And we are honouring our true purpose.
