It is the first day of a new month and a new season. In the Southern Hemisphere, itโs the first day of Spring, where people, plants, and animals are emerging from the cold, restful winter, ready to launch into warmth, growth, and action. In the Northern Hemisphere, itโs the first day of Autumn, and people, plants, and animals are winding down into the restful cooler months.
I find myself in an interesting โdouble-restโ phase. I have come from a mild Australian Winter, and am now traveling to Britain and Ireland, where I will experience a second, much harsher winter.
This first day of the new season is an opportunity to pause and reflect on what this season means for each of us.
Today, I will take a few minutes to sit down with my diary and reflect on August, and then write down my intentions for the next 30 days. Any lingering items on my to-do list can be carried over. And if I donโt quite get all the items ticked off the list in September, I will carry them over to the Next Month. And just keep carrying them over month to month until theyโre done. Whatever the current season requires.
I have created a new online workshop called the 30 Day Plan. This is the second half of my 30 & 90 Day workshop that I released at the beginning of July. This short workshop is designed to be used each month as a resource to help you create your 30 Day Plans. Purchase once and get lifetime access to this kinder, gentler goal-setting tool that is good for your nervous system.
